Route lenght 7 km

From Staročeská hospoda in the centre of Špindlerův Mlýn follow the green markers – past the Tabulové boudy chalets (750 m a.s.l.) – to the embankment of the Elbe Dam (700 m a.s.l.) – cross the embankment – continue following the blue tourist markers – cross the road and turn left to the Arnika hotel – above the Arnika join the green markers (775 m a.s.l.) – then continues on the right past the Krausovy boudy (Labská) chalets – to the Labská Vyhlídka viewpoint (810 m a.s.l.) – then on following the green markers past the Lesana hotel – back to Špindlerův Mlýn

Places of interest along the route: 

The dam was built by František Josef I in 1910-1914 and holds up to 3.5 million cubic metres of water

Adrenaline lovers can try bridging it – by crossing a 125-m rope at a height of 30m

Through the White Elbe Valley

Route lenght 10 km

From the white bridge in the centre of Špindlerův Mlýn – follow the blue markers – upstream along the Elbe – past the cable car to Medvědín – to the KRNAP cabin – then right towards Dívčí lávky (780 m a.s.l.) – along Weberová cesta – to the U Bílého Labe chalet – then on following the yellowmarkers – back to Špindlerův Mlýn

Places of interest along the route: 

Čertův důl educational trail – starts by the U Bílého Labe chalet and besides places of natural beauty also offers the exceptionally well preserved damming system at Čertova strouha (Devil’s Ditch), which is more than 100 years old

Through Labský důl

Route lenght 9 km

From the white bridge in the centre of Špindlerův Mlýn – follow the blue markers – upstream along the river Elbe – past the Medvědín cable car – from the KRNAP cabin keep following the bluemarkers – to the end of Labský důl – then back to the centre of Špindlerův Mlýn

Chalets of Špindlerův Mlýn

Route lenght  12 km

Take the bus from the bus station to the Špindlerova Bouda chalet (1198 m a.s.l.) – follow the redmarkers to the Petrova Bouda chalet (1338 m a.s.l.) – Maiden Rocks and Man Rocks – pass above Martinovka – at the signpost take the blue route to the Martinová Bouda chalet (1 259 m a.s.l.) – Brádlerovy (Fučíkovy) Boudy (1 063 m a.s.l.) – follow the yellow markers to the Medvědí boudy chalets (1 075 m a.s.l.) – then take the blue route to the Davidovy boudy chalets (1 025 m a.s.l.) – follow the yellow markers towards Dívčí lávky – on the way to Dívčí lávky you can stop at the stone Fortress (1012 m a.s.l.) – from Dívčí lávky take the blue route past the Myslivna restaurant back to the centre of Špindlerův Mlýn

Route lenght  6,5km

From Špindlerův Mlýn from the white bridge – blue tourist markers upstream along the river Elbe – cable car Medvědín – cable car to the top station of Medvědín (1 235 m a.s.l.) – Šmídova vyhlídka viewpoint (panoramic view of the Krkonoše Mountains), yellow tourist markers – then take the redroute towards Horní Mísečky – Horní Mísečky (1000 m a.s.l.)

Plus:

1. a)Redtourist markers (Vodovodní cesta trail) back to Špindlerův Mlýn (720 m a.s.l.)

Take a bus from Špindlerův Mlýn (720 m a.s.l.) to the Špindlerova Bouda chalet (1 198 m a.s.l.) – follow the red markers (Polish–Czech Friendship Trail) – over Slunečník (1 423 m a.s.l.) – past the Slezská Bouda chalet (1 395 m a.s.l.) – to Sněžka (1 602 m a.s.l.) – to get back you can choose one of the routes 2 – 5 in the opposite direction

Route no.2: Špindlerův Mlýn – Dlouhý důl – Sněžka

Route lenght 13 km

From the centre of Špindlerův Mlýn (720 m a.s.l.) – follow the green markers – through the Svatý Petr valley – to the Esprit hotel (855 m a.s.l.) – through Dlouhý důl – past Červenkova mohyla – to Výrovka (1 357 m a.s.l.) – then follow the red markers– to the ”little chapel” ≈ Memorial to the Victims of the Mountains (1 509 m a.s.l.) – to Luční bouda chalet – then join the blue route – past the Slezská Bouda chalet (1 395 m a.s.l.) – to Sněžka – to get back you can choose one of the routes 1, 3 – 5 in the opposite direction

Route no.3: Špindlerův Mlýn – Kozí Hřbety – Sněžka

From the centre of Špindlerův Mlýn (720 m a.s.l.) – follow the red markers – up past the Belmonte hotel – to the little church – then on past the school – along the old Bucharova cesta trail – past the Horal and Panorama hotels – Kozí hřbety – Krakonoš (1 422 m a.s.l.), where there is a lovely viewpoint over the Krkonoše Mountains – past Rennerova studánka spring (formerly the Rennerova bouda chalet) – to Luční bouda chalet (1 410m a.s.l.) – then continue following the bluetourist markers – past the Slezská Bouda chalet (1 395 m a.s.l.) – to Sněžka (1 602 m a.s.l.) – to get back you can choose one of the routes 1, 2, 4 or 5 in the opposite direction

From the centre of Špindlerův Mlýn (720 m a.s.l.) – follow the blue tourist markers – upstream along the Elbe – to the Medvědín cable car – take the cable car to Medvědín (1 235 m a.s.l.) – .) then follow the yellow markers – across Svinské louže – to Šmídová vyhlídka (panoramic viewpoint) – then continue following the red tourist markers – to Vrbatova bouda chalet and Zlaté návrší (1 413 m a.s.l.) – past the Mohyla Hanče a Vrbaty cairn – to Ambrožova vyhlídka viewpoint and Pančava Waterfall (148 m) – Labská bouda chalet (1 300  m a.s.l.) – then follow the greenmarkers – to the Source of the Elbe (1 382 m a.s.l.) – take the yellow route – past the U čtyř pánů (Four Lords) signpost – to Vrbatova bouda chalet – then continue following the yellow or red tourist markers – again to the Medvědín cable car – back to Špindlerův Mlýn
